In October 2019, the Master of Mathematics Education Study Program held a “Visiting Professor” activity by inviting a lecturer from UTM Malaysia, Dr. Muhammad Khair bin Noordin. The activity was opened directly by Prof. Dr. Marsigit, M.A. as Director of Postgraduate Program, UNY. In his speech, Prof. Marsigit emphasized the importance of Augmented Reality (AR) as a medium for learning mathematics. School mathematics for elementary to high school students is not like mathematics for students in universities. For students, math is more of an activity that requires media such as AR-based.  Lecture activity participants are students of the S2 Pend. Mathematics Class of 2019 because they are taking the course “Digital Technology for Mathematics Learning” taught by Mrs. Wahyu Setyaningrum, Ph.D. and Dr. Sri Andayani, M.Kom. (sgm)
