The Master of Mathematics Education Program was presented by Prof. Dr. Barry Kissane from Murdoch University Western Australia. Barry delivered material on the use of Classwiz and Classpad Calculators for learning Mathematics in Schools. In his explanation, Barry revealed the use of calculators as a tool for solving mathematical problems as well as a tool to accelerate mathematical procedures or algorithms by paying attention to the learning objectives that have been set.

The activity was attended by Master of Mathematics students and several Mathematics Teachers in Jogjakarta. The event was organized by Prodi S2 Pend. Mathematics UNY. The activity is part of a series of activities The 3rd International Seminar on Innovation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.

In this training, participants received 13 materials, namely, Master Trainer's Appraisal, Introduction to Casio Classwiz, Exploring Mathematics With Classwiz for Indonesia, Problem-Solving Using Calculator, Introduction to Graphical Calculator fx-cg 50, Exploring Mathematics With Graphical Calculator fx-cg 50, Research on Mathematics Education by Integrating Calculator, Contextual and Real World Mathematics Problems, Pedagogical Content Knowledge: Hypothetical Learning Trajectory, Designing Lesson Plan and Worksheet, Peer Teaching, Teaching Implementation and Reflection.
