The Master of Mathematics Education Program at Yogyakarta State University (UNY) once again showed its achievements at the national level. In the Pekan Gema Matematika (PGM) (PGM) 2025, students from this program won third place in the Learning Media Competition for National Level Students organized by Ganesha University of Education.

This competition was attended by two teams of four students of the Master of Mathematics Education class of 2023. The participants in this competition were Johannes Gultom, Muhammad Alfabaet Zuhudi, Muhammad Nauval Muwaffiq, and Nurul Izzah Adi Ningsih. Team 1 designed a learning media, “Al - Jebret” for learning in Algebra Class VII junior high school, and Team 2 designed a learning “BRISDA” for learning Flat Side Space Building material.

Based on the results of the competition announcement, both teams entered the top 10 finalists of the national student learning media competition, and Team 1 with “Al - Jebret” Learning Media won third place. This achievement is a source of pride for the participants and the Master of Mathematics Education Program at Yogyakarta State University. This victory is expected to motivate all students and lecturers to excel and inspire each other. (Jo/HnR)
