I am Febi Febri, a Master of Mathematics Education (PMAT) student who participated in the 5th International Conference on Engineering, Social Sciences and Humanities (ICESSU) which was held on April 9-10, 2025 at Acacia Hotel Manila, Philippines, not only myself but also 3 other UNY students namely Metria Dicky Putra (FBSB), Aureliana Ardhia Widya Cahyani (FIPP), Yani Sahendra (FIPP). This prestigious international conference carries the theme "Ethical Considerations in Engineering for Sustainable Development: Insights from Social Sciences and Humanities," emphasizing ethics' role in sustainable development.
On this occasion, I will present an article entitled "Learning Innovation Using Technology (Google Maps) in Mathematics Junior High Schools," which discusses mathematics learning innovation through technology. This hybrid (offline and online) conference is attended by participants from various countries, including Malaysia, the United States, and India, and features keynote speakers such as Dr. Sudhakar Kumarasamy from Universiti Malaysia Pahang and Mr. Deepak Dasaratha Rao from Toyota Motor North America.
Over the two days, conference activities will include parallel sessions, interdisciplinary discussions, and networking opportunities. Topics covered include innovative trends in computer science, humanities, and sustainable engineering. This participation enriched her knowledge of educational technology. It opened up opportunities for her to publish articles in Scopus/Web of Science-indexed journals and earn 12.2 CPD Credit Hours for professional development.
